Check out Channel 1 (SD) or channel 601 (HD) to preview upcoming video-on-demand (VOD) movie previews, synopses, and rental dates along with helpful log-in information for your Smithville VOD access and use. The half-hour VOD Preview Show airs daily at 7:30 am, 11:00 am, 4:30 pm, and 8:30 pm.

Smithville Television has added the local channel WJTS to the Evansville DMA (Designated Market Area), including Jasper and Griffin, Indiana. Effective June 15th, 2016, the local news station WJTS began airing on Channel 18. Channel 18 will offer 24/7 programming with a local focus. Programming includes regional information such as Channel 18 News, city counsel meetings, and local high school sports, as well as syndicated shows such as The Lucy Show, Beverly Hillbillies, Recipe TV, Comics Unleashed, Jack Hanna, and American Trends with Dr. Gina. The residents of Evansville, Jasper, Griffin, and surrounding areas can check out WJTS, Channel 18 starting June 15th.

With exceptional historic programming like The Revolution, American Pickers, America: The Story of Us, and Pawn Stars, the HISTORY channel offers something for all history buffs. Starting July 10th, the four hour documentary series, DB COOPER, will premiere on The History Channel (697). On November 24th, 1971 a man dressed in a suit and tie hijacked a Northwest Orient flight bound for Seattle, Washington. He said he had a bomb and demanded 200-thousand dollars in cash and four parachutes. Once he got his ransom, the man jumped into the night, never to be seen again. The FBI, crime journalists, experts, and insiders examine the evidence and comes to an explosive conclusion.
