We start the month with the epic battle between Republicans and Democrats during Election Night 2016. The media frenzy started over a year ago and will come to a conclusion with Election Night coverage, on November 8th, 2016. Next up is the Clash of the Grandmas on the Food Network (channel 147.) Starting November 13th, this six-episode series will pit four grandmother's against each other in the ultimate comfort-food bake-off. Celebrity judges will declare one grandma a $10,000 winner.

This six-part, hybrid miniseries depicts a fictitious first mission to Mars by human astronauts in the year 2033. The dramatic scenes are intercut with interviews of some of today's leading space exploration experts, including Neil deGrasse Tyson, Elon Musk, NASA administrator Charles Bolden, X-Prize Foundation head Peter Diamandis, The Martian author Andy Weir, and over a dozen additional scientists, business leaders, and government officials.
National Geographic airs non-fiction television and documentaries involving nature, science, culture, and history. Hit programs include Brain Games, Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey, Wicked Tuna, The Story of God with Morgan Freeman, and Drugs, Inc.
TBS (Turner Broadcast System)
Taking a page from the Netflix binge procedural manual, TBS is launching their new serialized, darkly comedic mystery series—Search Party—in a single week. The ten episodes start on November 21st and two episodes will air each night (through Friday) from 11-midnight on TBS (channel 93).
A group of self-absorbed 20-somethings unite to investigate the disappearance of one of their college classmates. The show debuted at SXSW to acclaim and features sever notable visiting actors including Rosie Perez, Ron Livingston, Parker Posey, and Christine Taylor alongside new regulars Alia Shawkat, John Reynolds, John Early, and Meredith Hagner.
TBS is known for their unique comedy brand, including late night shows such as Full Frontal by Samantha Bee and Conan. They are also the channel for Major League baseball and NCAA Men’s Division 1 Basketball Championship.
