For just $3.95 per month, we’ll handle any technical problems with wiring in your home, we’ll troubleshoot service issues, and we’ll waive our normal technician fees. It’s peace of mind for your home connection for about as much as your daily cup of joe. Why worry? Let Smithville keep you covered with Connection Protection.
Connection Protection covers phone and Internet service only. A 12 month agreement is required. Connection Protection does not cover customer owned equipment or installation of new jacks and/or wiring.
Our Connection Protection plan covers:
- Repair or replacement of your wiring, jacks, and connectors between the outside of your home and
your phone, computer, or router.
- Repair or replacement of any wiring that we have installed to provide Smithville services, due to
normal wear and tear.
- Resolution of problems with Smithville services or Smithville-provided equipment caused by wiring
in your home.
- Verification that Smithville-owned equipment and services are working properly within your home

Additionally, as of February 12th, 2018, all in-home service visits that are determined to be outside of Smithville’s control will be charged a $35.00 service fee and a subsequent $90.00 technician fee. Under the Connection Protection plan, all technician fees would be waived – which will save you $90.00 per visit – not bad for just $3.95 a month!
