There’s nobody better than employees who can speak to and understand the value of our internet and security services and dedication to the community. We want to make sure our employees, who are Smithville Champions, benefit from providing leads to help grow the Smithville family.

Based on feedback from those outside our traditional service area we’ve added Security to the Champions program. You will get paid for Internet and Security leads submitted when they place an order for service.

When your lead signs up for service you will be paid based on the service type:

  • Residential $10
  • Business Advantage $25
  • Enterprise $100
  • Security $5

The lead must not have internet with us currently, be able to receive our internet service, and be willing to speak to a Customer Service Representative or Business Sales Account Executive. Current customers who don’t have internet are eligible.

  • Residential DSL customers can get internet for $39.99/month for 12 months.
  • Residential Fiber customers can get internet for $49.99/month for 12 months.
  • Customer Service will go over all Security options when they talk to leads.

Included is a hand sanitizer, door hangers, Business Advantage flyers, business cards, and a notebook for writing prospect information.

Payment will be made within 1-2 payroll cycles.

There are three ways to generate leads:

  • Submit the lead’s info via online portal at Smithville.com/champions. You’ll need the lead’s name, address, phone number, best time they can be reached, and the services they’re interested in. You can use the provided notebook to collect this info and enter into the site at a later time. Customer service will qualify the lead and contact them with service information.
  • Distribute provided printed materials (business cards, doorhangers, business flyers) with your employee ID number written in the promo code section. When the lead calls in and mentions your code you’ll get credit! (For simplicity we recommend filling out your employee ID on all your printed materials when you receive them and be sure to put your name at the top of the business cards!)
  • Share provided social media images with this suggested messaging:
    1. All Services-Message Me: “FRIENDS & FAMILY: Get Smithville’s internet service with my special discount. Message me for more information!” Obtain the lead’s name, address, phone number, best time they can be reached, and the services they’re interested in. Enter the information at Smithville.com/Champions and Customer service will qualify the lead and contact them with service information.
    2. All Services-Mention My Name: “FRIENDS & FAMILY: Mention my name when signing up for Smithville internet and get a special rate!” When the lead contacts Customer Service and mentions your name, you’ll get credit for the sale.
    3. Security-Message Me: “FRIENDS & FAMILY: Message me to learn more about Smithville’s Smart Home Security services. You could even get a discount on your home insurance!” Obtain the lead’s name, address, phone number, best time they can be reached, and the services they’re interested in. Enter the information at Smithville.com/Champions and Customer service will qualify the lead and contact them with service information.
    4. Security-Mention My Name: “FRIENDS & FAMILY: Mention my name when signing up for Smithville’s Smart Home Security services for the best deal. You could even get a discount on your home insurance!” When the lead contacts Customer Service and mentions your name, you’ll get credit for the sale.

A Smithville Customer Service Representative will contact the lead during regular business hours (Monday-Friday 8AM-6PM, Saturday 8AM-5PM). While there are no plans to extend hours for this program we can reevaluate if program success depends on late hours. They will attempt to reach the lead up to 3 times. If a certain time works best for the lead, they can schedule a call for that time.
