Connecting You to What Matters
Listen to how Fast Fiber Internet helps our neighbors connect to what matters.
Nolan Penter – First Responder & Avid Gamer
From Super Mario to Overwatch, Nolan Penter loves gaming. He’s a senior police officer in the community, and in his free time he plays video games.
In his Smithville Fiber-powered home, Halo memorabilia line the shelves. You won’t find just one gaming set up, but three. Nolan, his son, and his fiancé and fellow police officer Jennifer are all gamers, and they enjoy playing together.
“I recommend getting Smithville’s fiber. It can bring convenience to your life, even if you’re not a heavy gamer—not having your service dropped, being able to get anything done you need to, and not worrying about who is connected to the internet at the same time.” —Nolan Penter, Smithville subscriber since 2019
“Fast Fiber Internet allows us to work from home to support our family.” —Meghan & Will Fletcher, Smithville subscribers since 2015
The Fletchers – An Involved, Connected Family
While raising two young children at home, the Fletchers positively impact the community by extending their dedication and service to Bloomington.
From Will’s prior service in the Navy and current work with the U.S. Department of Agriculture to Meghan’s dedication to teaching and volunteering to help kids and adults reach their goals, the Fletchers use their time to make a difference.
Reliable internet allows the Fletchers to do more, achieve more, and give back.
Paige Stradtner & Josh Belcher – Work from Home
Paige Stradtner operates Stradtner Strategic from her home office and relies on her Fast Fiber connection to connect to clients through video-conferencing. Her connection allows her to help local organizations, like Bloomington Brewing Company and Visit Bloomington, strengthen their brands and attract more visitors to their websites.
Josh Belcher, Paige’s husband, utilizes their fiber internet to upload large files as an application developer. Files that would take hours to upload on a slower connection now take a fraction of the time, allowing him to get more done.
Smithville Fast Fiber lights up more opportunities for Hoosiers and in turn, Hoosiers light up our community.
Paige Stradtner and Josh Belcher are adding value to our community while telecommuting. They rely on their Smithville Fast Fiber connection to work smarter.
